About BRD
The Rwanda Development Bank (BRD), or Banque Rwandaise de Developpement, is a financial services provider. BRD was established in 1967 as a long- term financial services provider. From 1974, BRD embarked on aggressive financing of different sectors of the economy. In 2011, BRD merged with Banque de l’Habitat du Rwanda (BHR), in order better position BRD to provide long-term loans, housing loans, mortgage re-financing and other financial services that will improve access to finance in Rwanda.
